LOW FREQUENCY GENERATOR
As part of a cable tracing and fault location set, the generator LFG-2500 is used for the following tasks:
LFG-2500 delivers an incredible output signal power of up to 2500 VA.
Such immense power significantly enlarges an effective location range and enables efficient tracing and fault pinpointing even under such adverse conditions as deeply buried utilities, wet soil, strong inductive background interference, etc.
Output resistance of the generator is automatically matched with the load ensuring the maximum signal power across the entire operating range. This function makes LFG-2500 efficient when used under adverse location conditions.
The generator can output the current of up to 50 A which expands the field of its application in cable fault pinpointing.
LFG-2500 can operate either in the continuous signal with 1024 Hz frequency generation mode or in the frequency modulation (1024 Hz and 2048 Hz) mode.
Frequency modulation mode makes tracing underground utilities with high level of extraneous noise more accurate.
The generator features an OLED-display which remains bright and clearly readable even in the direct sunlight.
Display conveniently indicates such operating parameters as the output power level, output current, active operating mode, etc.
Enclosed in a shockproof plastic case, the generator weighs only 13 kg. Compact embodiment together with the colossal signal power allows to consider LFG-2500 as portable generator ideally suited for field operation on objects of any complexity.
