HIGH-VOLTAGE SF6-INSULATED VOLTAGE TRANSFORMERS

Single-phase inductive SF6-insulated transformers of TIOG series are designed to transform the mains voltage into high voltage for high-voltage testing of electrical equipment.

HIGH POWER

The series includes gas-filled step-up transformers which are capable of outputting high AC voltage up to 250 kV at output power of up to 17 kVA.

TIOG transformers are used for high-voltage testing of electrical equipment according to a wide range of standards in a short-term duty cycle.

SUITABLE FOR USE IN CABLE TEST VANS AND MOBILE HIGH-VOLTAGE TESTING SYSTEMS

TIOG-series transformers are resistant to shock and mechanical stress which makes them suitable to be used not only in fixed installations, but also as part of the cable test van equipment or in mobile testing systems.

MEASURING CAPACITY, tan δ, PARTIAL DISCHARGE AND OUTPUT VOLTAGE

A gas-insulated capacitor can optionally be integrated into TIOG transformer, which enables appropriately connected instruments to measure capacitance, tan δ and partial discharge of an object under the test.

TIOG-250 models feature a secondary winding outlet (inductive voltage divider), which can be used to measuring output voltage of the transformer.

COMPACT AND LIGHT-WEIGHT DESIGN

Using SF6 insulation made it possible to significantly reduce the weight and dimensions of TIOG transformers in comparison to the corresponding power class transformers with other types of insulation.
